Juiciness of plum and black currant with layers of sweet spice and a hint of black pepper. Ripe tannins provide a soft finish.

A heavenly combination with slow cooked lamb shanks or braised oxtail with gremolata. Also goes well with roasted chicken and vegetable casseroles topped with a generous amount of Gruyère cheese.
